Extended Description:
As the Capital of Western Australia, Perth is a unique and vibrant city, which surprisingly is known as one of the most isolated in the world. With over 1.5 million residents this is a city that is still over 1,300 miles away from the nearest largest city with over a million people. Still though, Perth is a sophisticated but relaxed city that has a cosmopolitan feel to it. Lucky enough to have amazingly warm and sunny weather, Perth is located only minutes from the Indian Ocean which means miles of sandy beaches and plenty of outdoor activities.
Surrounded by incredible nature, islands, rivers, hills, and vineyards, this historic city prides itself on culture and area attractions to bring in tourists from around the world. Perth itself continues to grow at a rate of almost 10% each year, with almost 30% of residents from other countries. It seems that once you come to Perth, you can't help but fall in love with it.

Places To Eat in Perth
When out and about in Perth there are almost as many restaurants to choose from as there are places to shop. Many places serve traditional Australian foods such as steaks and seafood, but many restaurants like to keep a standard well above the average food. Also, as a winegrowing region, there are extensive wine lists at most restaurants that you dine at.
There are many ethic restaurants in Perth as well, many of which allow outdoor seating to take in the amazing views and fabulous climate. One restaurant in particular is growing as one of the most popular places to eat. On the top flor of St. Martins Towers, you can find the C Restaurant. A revolving restaurant that offers views of Rottnest Island, Swan River, and all of Perth, this is as much about the experience as it is about the food.
There are many cafes and smaller eateries in Perth as well so you can stop by and just pick up a quick bite to eat while rushing to see all of the many attractions. You could also do what many of the locals do as well. Just grab a sandwich from the deli and head to the banks of Swan River to sit and enjoy a picnic among your friends and family.
Entertainment in Perth, Australia
Perth is where it is at when it comes to nightlife and entertainment. Specifically the area of Northbridge along James Street and Lake Street is one of the top spots for nightlife. Some of the most popular clubs in Perth reside there such as Brass Monkeys. With great music and spectacular DJs, you can eat, drink, dance, and have a great time. The Rise Nightclub is another hip and happening place to head to if you are looking for a funkier dance club that has a huge circular dance floor, state of the art lighting and several lounges to choose from. There is even a place to Salsa at The Deen which is on Aberdeen Street in The Aberdeen Hotel. With six different clubs to explore, there is something for everyone here.
The pubs and bars are fabulous as well. The drinking age in Australia is 18 years old, and the dress is rather strict for weekend entertainment. Although the bars and pubs are more casual and relaxed, the dance clubs tend to be more upscale.
