Golf is extremely popular here as well, and with some of the most pristine greens in Australia you are sure to have fantastic time before you head for other outdoor activities such as the beaches.  Glenelg is a popular Adelaide beach day trip as it is only 25 minutes outside of the city centre.  With long sandy white beaches, plenty of shopping and attractions, as well as great places to dine and enjoy the nightlife, you can hop on the original 1929 Glenelg electric tram to take you to seemingly a whole different world.

If staying in Adelaide is more your style then you can certainly head down many of the side streets to join the locals at a welcoming pub, or head to a concert venue to catch up with some of the best acts both locally and around the world.  Many are held within the remarkable parklands that are within the city of Adelaide that are a tourist destination in itself.  Lastly, if you get a chance, then head to the Adelaide Zoo which holds more than 1300 native animals in their natural habitats.
