There are over 100 beaches throughout Sydney, most of them falling in either the Northern or Southern Beaches group. Also within easy reach of the city are Sydney's Southern beaches which starts with somewhat of an Australian icon - Bondi Beach. The Southern Beach stretch continues down towards Coogee and ends all the way down at Cronulla Beach, on the other side of Botany Bay.
