Extended Description:
The townships that male up the Lower Blue Mountains region include Lapstone, Glenbrook, Blaxland, Warrimoo, Sun Valley, Valley Heights, Winmalee and Springwood. The temperature here in the lower parts are much warmer than townships higher on the mountain. An rough guide is for every 300 metres rise in altitude, there is about a 2 degrees celcius drop in temperature.
